Standard Terms of Trade for Cladding Australia Suppliers
01. Scope of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions apply to all supplies of architectural materials and engineering advisory services provided by Cladding Australia Suppliers to the Customer. By requesting a quote or issuing a purchase order, the Customer accepts these terms in full.
02. Quotations & Pricing
Due to fluctuations in global metal markets and international freight costs, all quotes are valid for 14 days. Prices are quoted in AUD and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
03. Import & Delivery
As an importer of European materials, delivery timelines are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by global shipping disruptions, customs, or mill shortages. Risk passes to the Customer immediately upon goods leaving our warehouse.
04. Engineering & Compliance
While we provide design advice based on 30 years of expertise, final responsibility for project compliance rests with the Customer's engineer or architect. Materials are verified against Australian Fire Testing and NCC standards.
05. Weathering Steel (Corten)
Consistent with global steel mill policies, we do not offer a lifespan warranty on Weathering Steel. Performance is dependent on site location, material gauge, and drainage design. Consultation is recommended for coastal environments.
06. Claims & Acceptance
Customers must inspect all materials upon delivery. Any claims for damaged goods must be made in writing within 48 hours. No claims are accepted once materials have been fabricated, cut, or installed.
07. Limitation of Liability
Liability is limited to the replacement of materials or a refund of the purchase price. We are not liable for consequential loss, including loss of profit, site delays, or labor costs for re-installation.
08. Payment Terms
Payment is required as per milestones outlined in the project invoice. Ownership of goods does not pass to the Customer until full payment has been received.
